Noticed that my headlights are showing early signs of this - particularly as in the upper right picture in the link.

Thanks for the info. I'll point this out to the dealer when it's due for a service in July, or earlier if it gets worse.

Not that I'm aware of but as you know yourself from the DE site, this is a well documented occurrence which Mazda it would seem have acknowledged and replace affected headlights without quibble.

Update: Had the first service done on my car last week. Dealer agreed that the headlights are faulty and they're being replaced under warranty tomorrow.

Good news that they are being replaced without quibble although with so many cases of this happening I don't suppose quibbling was really an option.
