Awaiting delivery of my CX-5, and gather from looking at certain threads,
the CX-5 doesn't have auto locking once you drive off, and achieve certain speed.
Can someone confirm, that's the case pse.? :P
Currently driving a Qashqai and that range no longer has speed activated, auto locking;
however, Nissan's Infiniti range which is made on adjacent line at Sunderland (for now!), does have feature.
To get round it I fitted a module into car's OBD port which triggers auto locking at 15kmh.
Perhaps there's one around for the CX-5?

Mine's a 2018 model and it auto locks.

My Dec 2018 automatic Sport Nav+ has configurable autolocking on & off - from memeory its either by speed, or gear selection (but remember mine's an auto). I think I have mine set to on when reaching a set speed, then off when selecting Park.

Good to know it's standard with no need for an accessory.
With the undesirables around now, especially in Cities, you really
need to keep all yours doors locked as soon as you set off.

Look on the German Mazda cx 5 forum. I have changed some codes an when my speed is more than 1 mile the dooors will be closed.
