My 2019 model has an electric tailgate, all well and good but makes a loud warning beep when opening or closing.
Id like to be able to mask this to avoid disturbing neighbours on early starts but can't see any option in the menu, has anyone spotted what I may have missed, or am I stuck with it?

Not to my knowledge; you could access boot by folding back seat/seats forward?

Have a look at the second page here,

The beep is there to warn anyone behind the vehicle that the tail gate is about to open, if the engine is running the tailgate will not open electrically, maybe it can be opened manually, have not tried this as the beep does not bother me or the neighbours

More modern day H&S bollox as far as I'm concerned >:(

It is indeed. I sometimes cringe when I open mine at 3am when setting off to work.
BTW, the boot can be opened with the engine running but the parking brake must be on, in park and doors unlocked.
