Title: Deactivate Keyless Entry as a Security Measure
Post by: Portlanders on October 11, 2018, 09:39:43 am
Hi,

Just wondered if there was a way of temporarily deactivating the keyless entry?

I've read for many other cars there are certain ways, like pressing the lock button on the remote then pressing the button on the door handle within 3 seconds, but nothing i can see for the Mazda.

Any thoughts?

Something Mazda should review in my opinion in view of spate of car thefts via I key
transmissions being cloned. Could do on my Qashqai.

Yes you can disable the keyless entry. Carried out by dealer for free. They just don't advertise the fact.
