Title: Engine oil flush
Post by: rich201060 on February 29, 2020, 05:06:43 pm
 Hi,

Firstly hello,

Im new to the forum, fairly handy with cars. The CX5 is my daily runner and so far its been ok. I have always kept an eye on the oil level and changed it more regular than recommended. I recently had the oil pressure error, took it in as I had no software to see it, they charged me £40 to reset the oil data, needless to say I now have ForScan. Whilst they had it they said the oil smelt contaminated so was thinking of flushing it out anyone recommend a flushing oil?

2012 2.2 diesel

If it's already been contaminated with enough diesel to bring up the pressure warning that'll have flushed it for you.
