Sat nav annoyances
« on: February 17, 2021, 08:03:30 am »
Does anyone else suffer these glitches?

1/ Selecting NAV button with map shown on screen (but no route programmed),
my display repeatedly switches to EDIT FAVOURITES (radio stations) display, as I'm driving?
Only way to get map back is pressing NAV button.

2/ Driving along with no route programmed, get repeated screens saying LOCATION has been saved
to favourites.
Again I've done nothing, and saving a location normally takes several steps, which
you can't do when driving anyway.

Intend popping in to dealer Friday to query.

Not had anything like that at all. It works as it should, just not very good. Yours would appear to be faulty.

Try re-inserting the SD card as I had similar trouble with a different car but not the CX-5 as yet
Motorcycles are my favourite form of transport but CX-5 is smooth.

In dealership tomorrow for the update at suggestion of Mazda Hands Free Support in Germany ;D

If it doesn't solve they suggest dealer needs to fit new unit.

Hasn't done the issue described for last 2 days; go figure.
