OK then, I guess most members are not going to understand a word that is being spoken in this video as it's in German. Not to worry, though, a picture paints a thousand words as they say. The subject of the video is a 100,000km test of a CX-5 owned by one of our popular motoring magazines - AutoBild - in which they break down the vehicle right down to individual pieces with a view to inspecting them for wear etc.

or how about the new CX-9 coming in early 2015 with the first release in the U.S.
Skyactiv-G 2.5-Liter-Turbo, 253 PS and 420 Nm maximum torque, 5,07 Meter long and with FWD or AWD, and with 18" or 20" wheels. It won't be sold in Germany but what about the UK - any chance?

I'm clueless to what the verdict was?

It was all positive. ;D

Good.
Looking at the worn pads and clutch plate? I wasn't sure.
I'm a bit surprised to be honest. 8)

The CX9 has never been sold in the UK; I did see quite a few when I was in Washington a couple of years ago and I believe it was sold in Australia as well? Not sure about rest of Europe, though.

The CX9 engine has max torque at a high 2000 revs for a modern turbo petrol engine.
The BMW X1 petrol engine only available in Europe and elsewhere, delivers 250 pound feet at 1250 rpm to well up the rev range, along with around 227 bhp.

Now if they'd offered the Japanese rosewood in my CX-5 package as it is in the CX-9 I may well have gone the leather interior look. ;D http://www.bbc.com/autos/story/20151123-family-car-as-object-of-desire

It was all positive. ;D

If you click on the 'Settings' icon (that gear looking thing bottom right of the video screen) there is an option to change the subtitles settings to English.
