Me again.
I have looked through my 6000 page Owners Manual and can't find anything on how to remove the bar just behind the rear seats that contains the luggage cover (that rolls in and out). I need to transport some larger than usual items and know they would fit if I could remove said bar. Rather than losing days of my life and the will to live, does anyone know how to do this. There are no obvious release catches.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

If it's the same as mine, then it is spring loaded. Just hold it and push to one side and then lift it out. Good luck.

Agreed - same as mine.

Correct, I think you can push it either way?

Presumably not in the manual as it's an accessory?

Thanks all, bar is out.

I presume that the question mark is an indication that you're not 100% sure. For what it's worth, this cover is a standard fitting and is covered in the manual - well certainly in mine it is.

You're right, it is in the manual, sections 3-18 to 3-20 for my 2012, however, it does show the caveat *some models so I assume this is why it is available as an accessory, part no KD33 V1 350, hence my confusion.

I think it's possibly standard in UK but not all markets (eg. in US owners seem to have long debates about to source this item)
