Power mirrors
« on: August 24, 2022, 01:34:01 pm »
Hi, I have a 2014 cx5 with the power mirrors. The passenger side hasn’t folded back out for months so we mostly stopped using that function when parked, if ever used we did have to force it out so not ideal but seemed ok. Recently the motor has been ‘ticking’ repeatedly in the passenger mirror when the engine initially switched on as of it is trying to fold out the mirror.  Is really irritating.

I intended to remove the fuse so the power mirrors didn’t operate at all (neither the folding function or the glass panel function if this is off the same fuse) however when I removed  the fuse marked’ mirrors’ from the passenger side fuse box both the folding and glass adjustments function continued to work!

Any ideas on what fuse needs removed to disable the mirrors? Or a cheap way of fixing the mirrors not via main dealer?

Thank you. Didn’t find them first time. Hopefully something in there
