Title: An oddity
Post by: BigAl on August 12, 2016, 09:59:54 pm
Car in for 25k service this week. Asked them to check the washer fluid warning as I ran out of fluid the previous week without a warning appearing. Turns out that the 2015 model doesn't have this sensor, where the 2012 model did - even though it appears in the current manual. Even confused the dealer, did that one!

TBH I've never had a car with that sensor.  On my old Rav4, I found out that the washer liquid was low when it stopped squirting...   ;)

Check if your washer fluid cap has a tube attached to it, if it does then it's supposed to act as a dipstick.
