I was advised by the salesman to lock the car and press the smaller button on the key unit which I did but the alarm kept going off. I have read the manual but still can't get the motion sensor to stop activating anytime my dog is in the back. Any ideas?

Hi, not sure you can disable it! Have looked through the manual but can't see how it can be done. very strange :o

Have you tried pressing the disable button before locking the car? I have done that a few times and it seems to work? I normally leave the back windows down slightly as well, not sure whether that makes a difference?

Where's there disable button?
-
Cracked it.............the button is on the key fob near the base with 'off' written on it. When you leave the car and lock it in the normal way you have to press the 'disable' button within 20 seconds and the indicators should flash 3 times and the motion sensor is then disabled. Worked so far with windows partly open too.

Great you have found a solution. I looked in my manual and couldn't find anything in there about disabling the alarm :-[

Just had to re-visit this to remind myself how to do this on a hot day like today!
