Title: Door mirror adjustment
Post by: Rogthedodge65 on October 15, 2018, 09:57:53 am
I can't get my electric mirror to adjust outwards enough - the maximum travel leaves me with a view half full of the car! So far as I can tell the glass is correctly fitted. Any ideas? Folding works fine.

I had this once on another car. The mirror holder had been pushed out of position. I had to push the right hand side of the mirror until it was in the correct position in relation to the mirror housing. I don't know if this is the same with the CX5, sorry.

Thanks Steve, I did try that. Think I'll take the glass off (I have a spare) and see if the mech is all OK.

I’ve seen your post on Facebook. I think I’d just cover it with cloth and push it but I can find you the disassembly instructions if you want them.

Well according to my Mazda dealer it's the same as the other CX-5s they have in the workshop - not sure I believe them.
