Title: Sport button puzzle

On my sport nav auto ,when i flick the sport button next to gear lever how do i know whether its on or off visually.i cant see no lights or anything on dash or next to switch, also does it self cancel or do i manualy switch it off? ???

It should say the word SPORT on the dash and yes, you disengage it while driving but I can’t remember if it defaults to off when switching off.

thanks for your reply anchorman,but dash and engine are different on the  aug 2018 model compared to your 2016 model.

I’ve actually got a 2018 (my 2016 got stolen) but it is a diesel and diesels don’t have sport mode. However, I had a 2018 petrol in the USA for a month so am familiar with them.

At last i have figured it out, i need to slide /push button forward and hey presto "sport appears in orange above gear readout on the dash(i kept moving it backwards as this felt more natural to me) and boy did it help with my overtaking ;D

I take it you never noticed the word SPORT was at the front of the switch!!!
