Interesting thought. First impressions are that the video shows a kerb height that matches the rim perfectly! Kerbs vary in height a lot and so does the rim flange edge  shape/design. Did not expect them to be very durable then read the reviews on Halfords web site!  £29.99 a set and they fly off. Was thinking that they could be a pain to the tyre fitter who had to refit them after changing a tyre. That's not the problem, they may not last a day anyway.

Had GAP insurance offered by dealer at £379 - ALA same cover for £160. They do tire and wheel cover at reduced cost if GAP taken out.
I had Alloygaters fitted on previous CX5 and had them taken off and fitted on the new CX5 two days ago. Would not be without them after my brother lost hundreds on a car resale for tiny alloy scuff.
