Hi I have had low key battery warning come up on dash, swopped to spare remote this did the same .
Both remotes had new battery's fitted 3 months ago. Anyone had this problem?

Not after 3 months, where did those replacement batteries come From? I buy duracell from morrisons nowdays

Both were Duracell , don't understand why both failed so quick,
How long do they normally last?

Had my first CX5 for just over three years, never changed the batteries, but did swap the keys around when the message appeared. 15 months on the second car, just used one ley only, no messages yet.

My batteries lasted 2 years, both ran out around the same time although i only use one. they are both sending out a signal all the time looking for the car even if you dont ever use them so run out at the same time. I think the ones that charge when the keys are in the car are a much better idea as you dont need to worry about it.
