Title: n/s folding mirror

Hi all.

New to the forum, and cx-5. N/s mirror playing up when I try to fold and unfold it, o/s is fine both ways.
Will fold /unfold if I twiddle the knob a couple of times, tried the old engineers trick of well known water dispersal spray to no avail.
Anyone come across this or similar problem??

Sounds like the knob has a dirty contact inside, best to just turn the knob back and forward without the ignition on and that will probably clear the dirty contact. Probably not been used much.

Funny this happened to mine last week drivers side was slow and juddering I just retracted it happened twice but has been fine since.
