My Petrol CX5 is coming up to being a year old in a months time, just wondering how much leeway I have regarding when to have its first service to keep the warranty intact? it has only done 3,000 miles. Thank you.

I asked a dealer this and was glibly told a couple of weeks should be ok. Personally I wouldn't leave it any later than an exact calendar month from date due. Bear in mind if you get it serviced around (or just before) its anniversary then the MOT's can be done at the same workshop visit (obviously that's another two years to go for you tho).

Booked it in yesterday for the end of the month, got a quote from my 2 closest dealers (both 20 miles away) even a fair difference in price with just the 2.... £173 all in for one and £145 all in at the other!! Better than I was expecting actually!
