Title: CX-5 Mark II : I-Loop
Post by: p38cyq on September 03, 2017, 02:58:01 pm
In the previous version of the CX-5 (with the petrol engine) a system called I-Loop was built-in.

It recovered electricity into a condensor while decelerating.

Any body knows if this still is the case in the new Cx-5 Mk II?

There was something about this on the applications page of the infotainment system. I think it may have been removed on the latest software update, though. I asked my dealer what is was, he reckoned it wasn't applicable to UK models?

Thanks Alan.

I thus suppose the Belgian shipped CX-5's (MkII) do not carry this feature neither - or should I say anymore?.

Will keep this forum updated, my 2.5L (petrol!) just left Barcelona, inbound Antwerp.
