Engine/Transmission/Powertrain/Exhaust / 2.2 Skyactive Diesel Oil Control Valve
« Last Post by DaveT1957 on June 28, 2023, 08:55:58 pm »Don' t ask me how but the connector got broken off the top of my Oil Control Valve. I am having trouble locating a replacement-does any one have a part number for this or know if it is fitted to another car (Ford for example)? Thanks

« Last Post by DaveT1957 on June 28, 2023, 08:47:51 pm »I am in the process of changing the head gasket on my daughters CX5 diesel and 3 of the injectors came out OK but the 4th one was a bit tight. Managed to remove it with the use of a large screwdriver levering up beneath the injector holder. Beware when you are refitting the injectors as the holders are made from sintered metal and break VERY easily. Make sure they are level and torque up to no more than 9NM. If they break they are £100 each to replace-guess how I know!!

No my AA only works through a USB connection so I use a small cable and keep it and my phone within the armrest so no trailing cables. The downside is I keep leaving my phone in the car.
