Title: K&N Air Filter
Post by: baz2435 on October 23, 2017, 07:42:12 pm
I've up graded the air filters on my last few cars the most recent being my 2007 2.0 Mazda Sport and recently sold 330ci  BMW.
I purchased a 2016 2.0 Petrol Nav Sport early September. After three weeks of ownership fitted a K&N air filter. Although it's still no sports car it definitely pulls better lower down now that it is breathing more easily.
A modification I would recommend.

I bought my new K&N on Amazon for the 2017/18 KF model, as i usually fit these to all my cars (Pipercross for the Focus ST TDCI as K&N didn't work with the remap).

Car also now remapped too.

Somebody gave me one for one of my old RAV4s.  It was noisy and didn’t make the blindest difference to its power.  The OE filter offers virtually no resistance to ingoing air so I don’t really think it is more than clever marketing.
