Sorry to bother you all but I'm having a HUGE head ache connecting (or not as the case may be) my iphone 6s with the car for satnav live updates (no problems with blue tooth), can you please let me the routine you all follow to connect?
My email is garyhickman100@hotmail.com if you can email me direct or worse case via the site is fine.
PS I have a 65 plate with the software update (it made no difference, didnt work before and still doesnt work now).
Thanks again,
Gary

Using android i use an app thats free which sets up a wifi hotspot, its very easy to use as the password is saved so all i need to do is select start to set a hotspot up.
I'm sure your apple will have one available?

Getting really annoyed at this as I opted to pay extra for the Nav over the standard Lux, all I seem to get when trying to connect is "Connection error and Network Error".
Visit in Sandlicliffe, Loughborough is due....

I've just had my 3rd visit to the dealer to sort out my intermittent phone connecting problem.
They have down loaded the latest version which is now 56.00.511
Will have to see how it goes.

How can you find what version you have?

Go to "settings" located to the far right on the start up screen.
Scroll over to the far right to past devices to I think "system"
And scroll down to "about" version number can be found there, according to the e manual the software is for the audio??
But dealer claims it also addresses problems with BT dropping, I'm not holding my breath.

Yes the one you download from the UK Mazda site.
I only called it the e manual because sites with car brochure downloads call them e brochures sometimes.
