Title: Turbo failure

Hi I have a Mazda CX-5 and the turbos have been replaced but can anyone help me is this common on these cars the 2.2 bi turbo ??

Not a common one, the biggest issues were with the 2012-13 diesels - turbo failures caused by debris from improperly hardened camshafts. Never heard of it on a 2019, though?

I know of 2 CX5s having to have turbo replaced  56 & 66 plates both due to retaining rivet on the primary turbo coming out and doing through the blades

There are also a few messages on here from  2016/17 with the same thing.
