Android Auto - wireless operation?

Hello all - thanks for adding me to the group.

I have a 2019 Mazda Cx-5 Sport Nav + Auto which I bought from a dealer in December.

Android Auto works well if I plug my phone into the top USB slot with a cable - but if possible I'd like to use it wirelessly.

Is there a software update that would make wireless operation work - or would I need to buy one of those after-market dongles?

Thank you Gerald - I suspected as much!  I'll invest in a dongle then....
