Bit irritatating.......
« on: August 02, 2016, 07:07:12 am »
Don't know whether this is a new car thing or just Mazda, but I have noticed that every time I need to drive the car, it wont work unless I put my seatbelt on.
Bit of an annoyance just to get it out of the garage or to just drive it out of my front garden and close the gate behind me!

Sounds faulty, both my 2013 and 2015 cars drive with out the seat belt on, but you do get the bong sounding.

I have to go through a locked gate when I go fishing probably twice a week, and never use the belt its private land.

Not faulty, still learning it....but according to the manual, that's what I need to do..unless I'm very much mistaken!

I'm an idiot.....teach me to not read the instructions properly, its the electric brake...for auto release I need the seat belt on but I didn't notice that for manual release I just need to dab the brake pedal! all good now and thank you.

It can be released without the seatbelt on or the door closed for say, reversing. Put your foot on the brake and release it manually.
