Anyone fitted bigger tips and were they easy to do.

Check the "What did you do to your car today" thread under General Discussion - bigger exhaust tips are covered on page 7. Wheel spacers (as per your other post) are covered earlier in the same thread, I think.

(from the What did you do to your car today? thread) They are very easy to fit - they just push on over the existing tips with no drilling required!
Exhaust tips fitted (from Aliexpress, around £26 and available in plain silver or with blue/burnt ends. Made from 304 Stainless Steel (according to the ad!)

They have a subtle 'Mazdaspeed' logo etched onto the top edge which I'd rather not have given the choice but I couldn't find any that didn't. Perhaps when I fit alloy pedals I'll find some with the same logo.

...not so subtle unlike the logo! I really like them though, they look befitting of a Sport model and match my aim of an enhanced OEM look. Hopefully being stainless they'll last a while.

I must be weird as I just cannot see the point of stuff like this. Mud flaps, load space protectors, sill protectors, changing lamps for LED and stuff like that, yes they serve a purpose but all these styling bits and bobs to my mind just add weight and increase fuel consumption, must be due to being a sad old git!! :o
Good job we are not all the same as what a boring world we would live in :)

No not weird at all, it's just your opinion that your entitled to put forward, out of all these add on bits I think the illuminated sill protectors are the best, a blend of improving the appearance when opening the door but also adding protection, I had a previous car badly scratched on the sill with passengers using the sills as step, lol wasn't impressed. Also with regards to the boot when dogs are jumping in/out loads of scratches, I've learnt the hard way. But I haven't added no visual mods, and won't now car is nearly 5 years old.

Looking good. I'm new on here as I've just changed to a CX-5 for family reasons but am a long time A3 owner. So this is reminding me big time of the audisport forums where very many helpful threads about mods for making your car stand out were posted. Thanks as it's given me some ideas, particularly the ambient lights which I miss. My first job is an all round interior bulb change to white LEDs. Just makes the car look really modern. Then as I don't have Xenons it's white bulbs and LED indicator bulbs up front and white number plate bulbs at the back. Again just makes the car look better for minimum cost and effort.
I think the all round silver window trims look pretty good. Very reminiscent of the way Mercedes do it.
