HEAD GASKET ISSUE! Water in oil.
« on: December 09, 2019, 01:06:27 pm »
My 2015 2.2d Nav 65k miles wasn't getting any heat into the cockpit so i left it in to the local dealer and they were going to do the citric flush. Turns out there was a lot of pressure on a hose so they did some sniff test and lo and behold there is water in the oil and they have said its a head gasket issue! So they pulled it apart, found no warping but replaced the HG components anyway.

AT 65k miles are you kidding me!!

Anyway, Mazda have said they will offer me some good will but i am not happy one bit. 4 year old Mazda, 65k miles and full service history with Mazda. Only serviced 3k miles ago by a main dealer.

Looking at other Mazda world forums they have pulled the 2.2d engine as its been an issue in Asia apparently.

Should Mazda be standing by this car and fixing it for nothing?
