Title: Sweet spot!

Argh!  I'm still trying to drive the 2.0L like a diesel car any tips on where the sweet spot it on the engine?

2k revs mate, try going up the range without allowing to drop below 2k and tell me what you think

For me the sweet spot is about 2.5k after that your just breaking speed limits everywhere, lol

Well it's been a while since posting,  here's what I'm finding 2.5k is best for responsiveness and fuel on average 38-39mpg and with some use of cruise control which is not useful if the area is hilly as it will totally kill the average mpg. Also just be in the right gear 4th @ 40, 5th @ 50 6th depends on the road i.e.. motorways I use it as an overdrive.  On a small road trip I averaged 44mpg this entailed motorway to Northumberland and back down the coast to Whitby across to the Dales and home.  In all I can live with the 2.0L petrol as it is only 5-6mpg less than my only Qashqai diesel overall
