Like most surveys, they are not really representative of the whole as it is usually those with complaints that take part. The vast majority of owners of any particular make don't fill out survey requests so the results are less than accurate. I'm happy with my CX5. No problems up to now apart from the fact that we can't go anywhere at the moment except the supermarket.

It depends which survey you choose to believe in. Auto Express Driver Power 2020 survey shows the post 2017 CX-5 to be the fifth best car to own.
Perhaps it is more suited to AutoExpress readers than it is to Which? Readers.

The Daily Mail article relates to pre 2017 cars - but it also says, “ While the CX-5 is the third least reliable large SUV, the rating from owners isn't far short of the Ford Kuga in 10th spot in the most dependable list - so take this entry with a pinch of salt. ”

Just to point out that it was "What Car" review, not "Which", I m a member of Which and the review for CX-5 recommends the petrol engine over the diesel.
