Title: Listening to Cricket on the new CX-5
Post by: aljshep on August 15, 2015, 09:03:38 am
One of the small things that I do not like about the new car is that the radio turns off at the end of a drive when the engine is turned off.  It requires a second button press with foot off the brake to turn the radio back on. By the time it re-starts a couple of Australian wickets will have fallen!
My dealer was unable to offer any advice but I have learnt that it is possible to circumvent this:
Stop the car; gear lever into neutral and foot off the brake; engine off; gear lever into park.  Radio continues.
There is probably a similar fix for manual gearboxes.
Apologies if this is posted elsewhere.
