Live traffic graphics

So I finally have my 'Live' services working after having my wifi module replaced & am starting to get to know the system but am puzzled by the screen image. From the short journeys I have done with it so far I can see that you get a green band down the edge of the road on screen if the traffic is flowing well but it only seems to appear on A roads & stops at slip roads etc. As most of my commute is on B roads there doesn't seem to be any live info available, is that correct? Also if there are roadworks or traffic reported you get a triangular warning symbol akin to a road sign but it doesn't seem to show the start or length of the problem, again is that correct? If anyone can point me in the direction of some instructions for the Here/Navteq interface it would be very much appreciated as my searches are proving fruitless & the Mazda satnav manual doesn't seem to mention anything unless I missed it.
