Title: Favourite extra feature of CX5
Post by: steve101 on January 31, 2020, 07:34:33 am
As the title suggests, what is your favourite extra feature of the CX5. Mine has to be the headup display. I didn't think it would be of much use but now wish that all cars had it. I do drive quite a few different models from a lowly Fiat Panda up to our CX5 and they would all benefit from having the driving info in line of sight.

I agree that the heads up display is useful - but I think Mazda could have made it even better by including additional information on it such as the current radio station/track playing, trip meter, outside temperature, mpg etc.

Hmm, not in the screen although it would be nice to get turn by turn graphics from Apple maps to show up.

I quite like the cooled seats on the GT.

Agree the HUD is brilliant and gives just the correct amount of info I think. The heated steering wheel is just brilliant at this time of year also love the Bose system.

adaptive headlights are pretty awesome. The list is long, to be honest.

I quite like the memory seats and HUD. I've not long had mine so haven't had time to play as yet

Memory seats, best thing since sliced bread!
I'm 6' 2" my wife is 5' 3" and we both drive the car about 50% of the time.
Saves me baning my head on the door surround when she's been driving the car.

I love the multimedia controls just behind the gear stick, makes things a lot easier and safer.

Indeed, although I've just sold them both. Had a CX500B from 1980 to 1985, another from 2007 to last year and a US spec CX650 custom from 2012 to about 3 weeks ago. Not finding the time to use them, sadly

A friend has just got an early 500 it's in quite good condition.  He'll never get around to using it as he has loads of other bikes.  Thinking about it I dont remember him riding at all for a couple of years!
