hello everyone i have my tyre deflation warning light on i have put correct pressure in all tyres pressed the set button it says tyre pressure monitoring initialised but then the warning is still on any advise please
-
You have the earlier system that uses data from the ABS to work out if pressure has dropped (rather than the later system which has sensors on each valve) by comparing revolution rates across all wheels. Sometimes you may have to do the reset more than once until it stops nagging you.
Do you have the same tyres all round as differences in tyre wear (such as new on one side, badly worn but usable on the other) could also give a warning?

when the warning came on i checked the pressure in all tyres one was about 3lb low then noticed the ware on the front tyres tracking out so had new tyres on the front and had tracking done but cant get warning off

Did you press the reset button?

having put my diagnostic machine on did live stream on tyre pressure monitoring its status said learning ??

Ah right, you only get two goes at resetting it yourself before adjusting the pressure. After that, it detects rogue resets just to stop the warning at which stage, only the dealer can do it.
