Hello everyone, my first post and looking for some help.
I stupidly managed to punch a hole in my near side rear light cluster, the one positioned on the tailgate. I’ve sourced a new part and trying to fit it, but I’ve hit a stumbling block and for the life of me cannot work out how the unit is removed and replaced. I’ve taken the internal boot trim off, unbolted the one bolt on the old unit. However, at this point I’ve realised that there isn’t enough room to push the old unit away from the boot with some of the body panels blocking this.
Does anyone know the final steps to allow me to either get the unit out, is there a trick I’m missing? or do I need to remove a body panel? If so, how? Really frustrating to get this far and come to a brick wall.
Just to add to my frustration, I’m abroad in Cyprus and don’t have a dealer (don’t think there’s on on the island), or a specialist nearby.
Thanks in advance.

Whereabouts in Cyprus are you ?
As far as I can see there is a dealer in Limassol and one in Nicosia

Thanks for the info. The manuals look interesting enough for me to have a stab at it, but nice to know there’s a dealer in Limassol (about 90 minutes away) for when I inevitably cock it up
