Title: wheel wobble on new cx-5
Post by: MazzYMe on March 03, 2016, 12:38:09 pm
  :(
Hi, hopefully I'm in the right place to query... anyone else getting wheel wobble shake into steering wheel? Is happening around 25mph>55mph below or above seems to level out? 19" wheels on sport nav... only had a month... not a comfy drive.....  any ideas?? Cheers.

My guess - tyre pressures unequal, wheel bolt(s) not tight, wheel not balanced or tracking not set properly. If the tyre pressures are ok after checking then in your case I'd be off to the dealer.

Put the front wheels on the back to isolate the problem to the wheels.

But before you do that have a look to see if any wheel balance weights have dropped off, I've noticed one of my wheels appears to have a lot of weights, which isn't a good sign on a well engineered wheel.

Reminds me of my caravan wheels which took 130g and 135g to balance them.
