Title: Driver's seat
Post by: Deepjoy22 on June 19, 2017, 02:40:29 pm
I've a 2016 Sport Nav, so leather seats as standard.

The drivers seat, as it folds underneath the front of the seat is simply tightened by connecting to a couple of metal struts; the seat fabric itself is just folded around some sort of plastic moulding.

Over the last many months I've noticed that this clip-on effect just unclips and then just hangs loosely under the drivers seat.  You'd not notice this unless you were cleaniing - or looking for a lost 2 pound coin.

Has anyone else noticed this problem?

Does anyone have a solution - other than superglue it permanently?

Thanks

PS: I could raise this as a warranty issue - but the outcome could be worse than the problem.

I disagree with your last comment only because Mazda dealers are 1st class and will get it sorted. You've nothing to lose, so get it booked in mate!
