Hi all
I will be collecting my new CX5 in mid October. Anyone know what happens to your existing account for map updates and live traffic subscription as i don't want the new owner of my existing car to use my email address and password for map updates etc? I presume that I could create a new email address and password for my new CX5? I did send an email to the Mazda handsfree site using their web form last week and received no reply.
I also asked the dealer but I don't think they understood the question as they kept talking about the MyMazda application and that my existing details would be wiped clean for the new owner of my car.

From my experience of three cars and one account, I found that any valid SD card could be updated. After your vehicle is sold, the new owner will update it on his/her account. None of your personal information will be transferred.
We bought a new CX-5 and started an account with its SD card. We then bought a 6 and used the account for both cards simultaneously. We then sold the CX-5 and bought a newer but used CX-5. Both cards from the current cards are accepted by Mazda Toolbox.

Remember to delete your home address, favourites and previous destinations before you give up the car.

Oh yes. ;) Will include deleting the phone profile. I'm so paranoid my Facebook account is locked down so much with the privacy options I don't use it to post anything, just to view. :o
