De-mist problems
« on: December 17, 2019, 04:32:13 pm »
In the recent cold weather my 4 month old sport nav+ D Auto seems to have trouble de-misting when it starts in the morning. It must run at least 5 minutes before the screen even starts to clear. This is my 4th CX-5 and I've never had this trouble before. Air is blowing from the vents ok, and there is only a central vent now. Is it possible that projector hump on the dash is directing air away from the screen.

Just set the climate control to auto.  Don’t disable the A/C.  It will sort itself out.

Modern diesels take a lot of warming up so it’s not just a Mazda thing.
Eagles may soar high but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.......

Appreciate the reply, Anchorman, but 5+ minutes seems a long time. Guess I'll just have to suck it up.
