2022 CX-5 Hands free to quiet.
« on: February 15, 2023, 04:11:44 pm »
Hi
Has anybody else got a problem with their phone hands free.  We just cannot get it loud enough to use when the car is moving, it only goes up to volume of 65% when we try to turn it up, anyway it will have to go back to the dealer to be sorted out but its a good job we don't rely on it. Actually the phones own speaker is nearly as loud as the cars system and it seems to only use the door speakers???

Assuming you're using the Bluetooth connection, rather than Android auto/Carplay wired connection, try increasing the volume on the phone itself.

Hi there I had already checked that the Bluetooth volume was max, anyway its sorted but of a bit weird solution one of the techs paired his phone with the car then actually adjusted his phones volume whilst connected.  I had been adjusting the volume to max before connecting the phone,  we both thought weird but its worked.  That was on Monday and its still working ok.  Huzzah.
