Title: Boot liner tray
Post by: BigAl on August 06, 2018, 12:26:22 pm
As far as I am aware the new model doesn't have the "wells" either side of the boot behind the wheel arches like the previous two versions. On those the boot liner leaves those wells accessible. I don't think the new model has the wells, just a flat floor, so not sure whether to old boot liner fits? Can anyone with a 2018 spec model confirm this?

Hi Alan
I have transferred my old liner from my 2014 CX5 to my new 2018 CX5.
It fits well and leaves access to the small cubby holes that are covered with removable insets.

Yes - it does have the wells and the genuine boot liner covers them.

Any recommendations for a rubber boot mat/liner?

I decided I didn't want to pay over £60.00 for a boot liner that is made from waste plastics and would cost a fraction of that price to make. I went for a much cheaper version which does the job just as well, from ebay. Mine was £10.00 delivered. Here's the link. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fits-For-Mazda-CX-5-CX5-MK2-2017-2018-Rear-Cargo-Liner-Boot-Trunk-Tray-Floor-Mat/163253283227?hash=item2602a7699b:g:plwAAOSwsClbiMCV
