heater temperature
« on: October 17, 2018, 09:05:30 pm »
Hi, this is my first post, I purchased my CX5 2.2lt sport nav manual 2013 in May this year with 96,000 on clock, have now done 6000 mls with car I use it mainly to tow my caravan 1500kg. My problem is now the weather is a tad cooler the heater does not seem to get very hot, have flushed system twice and have a slight improvement. Is there some special flush Mazda use to clean system. Any help would be grateful. At my age (75) I do not look forward to removing heater matrix but if needs must will do. I am a retired and tired mechanic but there may be new things on the market I have not heard of. Mike Pearce.

Mike, have you got both left and right temperature controls turned up. Mine isn’t very warm when the left is down and the right up but when they are both up it’s hot enough to burn after a few seconds.
