« on: October 30, 2019, 07:17:54 pm »
my car is a 2014 cx-5 spart nav diesel with 19 inch wheels

Whilst its not a deal breaker im finding the suspension quite harsh and was wondering if there are any kits to make it more supple. Any info?

Putting 17" wheels on which will require different tyres, as they will have a deeper sidewall it should make the ride a bit less harsh. Lower spec CX 5s have 17" wheels

Ours is a 2018 and its harsh too on the wrong road surface, which is nearly everwhere here. We drove to Spain in it earlier this year and on the French and Spanish toll roads it is quiet and comfortable. Coming back into the UK and onto the M20 was painful.

The 175/184 hp versions on 19in wheels do ride harder than the 150 hp on the 17in. I don't think there are any differences in the suspension though. Probably worth trying to get a set of 17in wheels and tyres as mentioned above if you find it a problem.
