Title: How do you turn-off Street Names?
Post by: Mike246 on June 09, 2019, 04:44:52 pm
Mine's a new CX-5.

When driving without a route programmed the display shows random street names within the area. I find this a distraction while driving and cannot find a way to turn it off.

I have had to resort to leaving the navigation and returning to the Home Screen.

Can anyone help?

If you mean the street name that appears at the top of the screen (and helpfully covers the phone battery/signal indicators  ::) ), then no I don't believe it's possible. It's not random though, it should be showing the next turning coming up along the road you are driving on.

I think he means the street names that pop up on the map as you drive along. There's no way I know of to turn them off although I don't find it distracting as they only appear in built up areas.
