When making a hands-free call (Bluetooth) through the MZD system, the phone handset screen becomes ‘active / alive’ even though the screen was switched off when I got into the car.
The screen will show exactly the same information as if I’d made the call from the phone itself. On the Skoda I previously had, this didn’t happen.
Whilst the call works, the main reason for asking is that I usually have the phone in my shirt pocket, but with the screen now active this causes the screen to be receptive and often ends up with the call cut off.
Hope that all makes sense.
Interested to know if this is normal; or is there some setting I should have made to inhibit this.
My phone is a Samsung S6
Thanks.

Sorry can't help you with this one. I have the Samsung S5 and when connected to Bluetooth in the car I locate the phone in that little cut-out next to the two drink holders.

I've noticed the music is showing on the phone after I've used BT for music, but not found a problem most times phone is in my pocket unless I set up a wifi hotspot.
