Is there anything I can buy to improve the signal to my 2015 CX-5 the Facelift model had it for about a month and a half and the dab is very patchy.

A house in central Scotland!!
We have had four Mazdas with DAB.  All have had perfect reception (and we have driven widely in the UK) - unless we drive into the mountains.
I have been surprised to read that a small number of listeners have had this problem and can only surmise that there are a few areas where reception is unusually poor and that you live in one of them.
If you have driven over a wide area and have had this problem all over, then I apologise for my first remark and hope that someone will come up with a solution.

Have you got a dashcam in the car?
Eagles may soar high but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.......
