Fly!
« on: April 21, 2016, 03:32:01 pm »
Hi,

I have a 2016 CX 5, only had it a few weeks and just clocked up 500 miles. I noticed this morning that there is a small dead fly behind the plastic glass facia that covers the instrument cluster.

I always thought that these were sealed units, obviously not! please does anyone know how to and what kind of a job it would be to remove it?

I know that it is not a big deal but it is one of those annoying things now that I've noticed it.

Cheers,

Colin.

I'd go straight back to your dealer and get them to sort it, you don't want to scratch or damage the 'glass' or the housing by tinkering with it yourself. If they say it's only a fly say you are concerned about moisture and condensation getting in etc.
