Does anyone know if mazda are going to put this spec on the the uk market anytime soon?

All you can get out of Mazda is that there are no plans yet. I think you’ll have a better chance of getting the 2.5 hybrid first.

I think they are missing a trick here. That size engine is sold outside the uk. Shame

I recently read that Mazda is going to stick with diesel hybrids for 2020 and as far as I could tell only diesel and not petrol. Doesn't make much sense to stick with diesel while most others are going hybrid petrol, i.e. Toyota in Ireland. Here in 2018 to get an automatic had to go diesel. The 2019 models have petrol automatics now. I am looking to trade in 2020 or when they bring in the hybrid and hopefully the e-CVT with a petrol version, so question is has anybody hear anything? Thanks
