Fuel cap release knob broken

Hi.
We have had our used 2015 CX-5 for about 6 weeks. Unfortunatly we have caught the fuel cap release knob while getting in or out and it has broken. Seems to be an odd design as it is very vunerable. Does anybody know of a source for the black plastic part as I am having trouble finding a part number. The only option I've found so far is a used complete mechanism for £30! This would seem a bit excessive as the way we are going we may end up breaking it again!

The part you are looking for is CC2956862, but strangely only seems to be for sale in the states. You might have better luck.
