I know it won't happen, but if they sling the 2.5 petrol turbo under the bonnet and give it four wheel drive, i'll be there like a shot!

Looks like an oversized CX-3 which can't be a bad thing but if they don't offer the 2.5 petrol on the AWD auto which is standard in the rest of Europe, I'm off to pastures new.

I had to Google that!  Never say never but I was thinking back to familiar ground - Toyota or Lexus.

Personally I don't really like the RAV4, but I am strangely drawn to the NX, but I really don't think its worth a good extra £15k over the CX5!....How about pimping the CX5?.....get a four wheel drive version, lose the engine and then put a 5.0 V8 from the Mustang in it!!
and then I woke up....

Rather have a diesel than a Yankee V8!

Glad to see its got round wheel arches instead of hamburger shaped ones.

Agree with loads of previous comments, new shape lights front and Rear?  Is that rear spoiler smaller or is it just me, also I hope they have gone to town with all the issues that have been covered on this forum with the interior bits, info/sat nav etc. Hope they don't go for pop up speed indicator wasn't too big a fan on my mazda 3 although it can be disabled

There were three things in that article that I found interesting...
1 - The mention of an all new infotainment system
2 - The mention of a possible hybrid version (thought that wasn't Mazda's philosophy)
3 - The fact that the CX5 is now the oldest model in the Mazda range

Yeah Al, I thought mazda wasn't going down the hybrid route due to sky-activ tech, but saw mazda 3 hybrid somewhere on the Internet a few months ago.
