Fitting running boards
« on: June 12, 2024, 04:39:28 pm »
I've bought running boards and fittings online, and taken the CX-5 to a garage to have them fitted. The fittings have brackets to support the back, the middle and the front of the running board. So 3 areas across the length of the car.

The garage have said that my vehicle does not have drill holes for the middle brackets, and it wouldn't be safe to fit the running boards only to the back and front of the vehicle.

Mine is a 2013 2.0L Petrol

Anyone had any experience of fitting running boards to the Mk1 CX-5?

Also a good independent wouldn't be so hidebound as the stealership!
