Hello everybody.
I've just bought a new Android Smartphone (a Google Pixel 3a).
I had the Mazda infotainment unit successfully showing emails from my old phone (a Sony). It never worked with the Gmail app but I had the stock Sony email app checking for messages in the background which showed up fine in the car.
Once again, I'm using Gmail on my new phone and, once again, Gmail doesn't work with my CX-5. However, there is no other email app installed on the Pixel and the Sony email app isn't an option this time (not being a Sony phone).
Can anybody recommend an additional email app which can quietly run in the background and allow my car to access emails again? Is this even possible without a 'stock' email app?
